Common questions
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Go to Settings → Backup & Restore, create an encrypted backup with a passphrase, save it (e.g. to Files or iCloud Drive yourself), then restore it on the new device. You can also import from Apple Health, Clue, or Flo.
I forgot my backup passphrase.
Unfortunately we can't recover it. Backups are encrypted with your passphrase and we never receive it. Keep it somewhere safe (like a password manager).
How do I restore my purchase?
Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchase, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with. This works for the Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime plans, and for any legacy lifetime purchase ($14.99, $19.99, or the $49.99 pilot).
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions and select Hoo-Ha. Tap Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep premium access until the end of the current billing period.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
New subscribers get 14 days free on the Monthly plan. If you don't cancel before day 14, it converts to a $1.99/month subscription. You can cancel any time during the trial from Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions and you won't be charged. Trial eligibility is one per Apple ID per subscription group.
Which plan should I pick?
Every plan unlocks the whole app — Monthly ($1.99/mo, with a 14-day free trial), Yearly ($19.99/yr, best value), and Lifetime ($39.99 once, no renewal). If you're not sure, start with the free trial; you can switch or upgrade later.
The Siri commands don't work.
Siri is off by default. Turn it on in Settings → Siri & Voice. Then say "Log in Hoo-Ha…". Voice in the in-app assistant works separately via the mic button.
Why doesn't the app ask for an account?
By design. Hoo-Ha has no accounts and no servers — your data stays on your device, encrypted.
Is this birth control or medical advice?
No. Hoo-Ha is a wellness tracker only. It does not give medical advice or interpret results, and it is not contraception. Talk to a healthcare provider for medical questions.
